To establish a strong foundation for pickleball within Des Moines Public Schools by introducing middle school students to the fundamentals of the sport in an engaging and structured league format. This program aims to build early skills, interest, and sportsmanship that can evolve into school-based teams, intramural programs, and ultimately, a pathway toward pickleball as a recognized varsity sport within DMPS.
