This course aims to deepen learners' understanding of the historical foundations of African American/Black culture, with a specific focus on how it has influenced social, economic, and political interactions within the broader context of United States history.  Participants will embark on a journey of Blackness, exploring crucial ideas, events, social and cultural values, beliefs, and traditions that shape the Black experience.
